Atlas

Atlas is our local information core for asset, operations and tax data: contracts, costs, assets, licenses, receipts and tax profiles come together in one place – on our own hardware, without any cloud. Access is bound to profiles, changes are versioned and traceable.

Principles

How Atlas handles data

01

Data stays with you

The authoritative data lives locally on your own machine. A cloud is not the source of truth – network access is enabled deliberately, not assumed.

02

Network is not trust

An address on the local network provides reach, not permission. Every access is checked server-side – regardless of where it comes from.

03

Automation stays contained

Assistant systems only access through limited, release-gated interfaces – never directly to files or the database. Every change is versioned and auditable.

Capabilities

What Atlas manages

Domain integration

Instead of silos

Assets, contracts, costs, services, locations, suppliers and licenses are linked – instead of kept in separate tools.

Receipts & statements

Careful matching

Invoices and bank movements are captured as structured facts and matched – carefully, with a review and release step instead of blind matching.

Tax workflow

EÜR · VAT · DATEV-style

Cash-basis accounting, VAT and DATEV-style booking batches are produced directly from the captured data.

Tax advisor handoff

Handoff package

A package of booking data and documents – with cover sheet, summary and a check for missing receipts before export.

Profile separation

Per legal entity

Every record belongs to a tax or legal-entity profile; access stays scoped to that profile.

Traceability

Versions & audit

Changes are reconstructable via version numbers, chained audit entries and receipt references.

Atlas does not replace tax advice – it prepares data and receipts in a structured way for professional review.

The core

AI access that stays contained

Our AI core Berlin may use Atlas – but only under strict conditions. Access is no blank cheque: bound to individual profiles released by the user, limited to a few resources and locked by default.

  • Profile access is locked by default – each profile is released individually
  • Narrow read and write scopes instead of full access
  • Writes only with the expected version – stale changes are rejected
  • Network reachability and permission stay separate
  • Every successful change is logged
  • Chained audit entries make later changes detectable

The human stays in control: an assistant does not gain access just because it runs locally or holds a key.

In the Network

A subsystem of Berlin – fully local

Atlas is the data home for assets, operations and tax within the Berlin network. It runs on our own hardware in Germany, without any cloud. Berlin uses it through the controlled interface – the other systems stay out unless they are released.
